MOM (Managing, Operating and Maintaining) Program Implementation in Water Treatment Plants.

The Implementation of a MOM (Managing, Operating and Maintaining) Program becomes the logical step in ensuring that the owners of these plants get maximum return on investments with regards to their assets.

AECI Water possess the knowledge, capability and the expertise to Design, Build, Treat, Manage, Operate, and Maintain a variety of WATER TREATMENT PLANTS, through its MOM (Managing, Operating and Maintaining) program which can be used for new or existing plants.

For new plants, the MOM (Managing, Operating and Maintaining) program is built into the plant ensuring that all the RAMOS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Operability and Safety) aspects are taken into account throughout the Conceptualisation, Design, Built and Operation of the plant. The Solution will normally include the Maintenance, Personnel, Chemicals and Material as well as Management function in order to enable the Management, Operating and Maintenance of the plants.

For the existing plants the Methodology will be different, and it will involve the following steps:

  • Do a site Assessment from a Process and Maintenance approach
  • Determine efficiency of the plant both operationally and mechanically
  • Make recommendations in terms
    • MOM Personnel
    • Optimal Treatment for the plant
    • Maintenance Requirements for the plant
    • Logistics and support needed for running the plant
      • Remote Monitoring and Alarming
      • Mobile Workshops, etc.
    • As well as training and coaching
